Great product. Quality workmanship. I don't consider myself a handy man, but this was an easy install. The kit comes with very little installation instructions but you can easily download it. I'd highly recommend the very helpful on-line installation videos from the seller's website. They recommend using 18/2 or 20/2 wiring, I'd go with the 20/2 gauge (the higher the number, the thinner the wire). The 18/2 was very snug and hard to insert into the receiver. By the way, the receiver is a very delicate piece of equipment. Handle with care. Everything else in the kit is pretty rugged. Really quick response from the remote. You need to install the green "Push to Open" button in very close proximity to the door because there is no delay. You literally have to push the green button with one hand and push open the door with the other. however, when using the remote to open the door, there is a 4 second delay before the door re-magnetizes. That's plenty of time. If you don't want to punch holes in your walls or door frame, recommend building a box to house the "push to open" button. It's not just a flat green button mounted on a flat plate. There's about 3 inches deep of electrical gear behind that plate. Overall, very pleased with this kit. Works great.
